Ironwood Adds Risk Management Veteran to Its Property and Casualty Team
ATLANTA, GA (March 1st, 2018) - Atlanta-based Ironwood Insurance Services announced today that Doug Susco will serve as Ironwood’s newest Client Executive/Producer. Susco brings with him almost a decade of experience working within the commercial property and casualty insurance industry on both the carrier and broker side.

Susco is making the move to Ironwood after holding an Account Executive position at USI Insurance Services, where he focused on serving complex risk management clients in the manufacturing, healthcare, and real estate space. Prior to that, he had a six-year tenure with CNA Insurance where he held various positions in the Financial Institutions segment. He started his career in 2009 with Hanover Insurance where he was hired into their Future Leaders Program.
Susco is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He also holds his Associate in Underwriting (AU) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) certifications. He is currently pursuing his CPCU designation, while serving as Chair for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Associate Board. He previously served on the Board for the Young Risk Professionals of Atlanta.
