ATLANTA, Georgia, April Fourth, 2016-- Atlanta based Ironwood Insurance Services is an insurance brokerage firm specializing in serving the middle market in the areas of risk management, property and casualty insurance brokerage and employee benefits brokerage and consulting. The firm announced today that it has expanded its International Insurance Practice with the addition of Craig Perry to the team.

Craig began his career working in New York, where he was a principal with Johnson & Higgins. During his 17 years with Johnson & Higgins, he produced and serviced multi-national accounts; established their mergers & acquisitions due diligence practice and established and oversaw Johnson & Higgins’ other New York Insurance Exchange Operations. In 1980 and 1981, Mr. Perry spent two years working in London as the first recipient of the Anglo American Scholarship Award allowing him to learn first-hand working at Lloyd’s, Lloyd’s major syndicates, London’s brokers and at Lloyd’s U.S. Council.

For the past 12 years, Craig has been focused on developing a “Reverse Flow” International Practice for Rutherfoord (now Rutherfoord, a Marsh & McLennan Agency).

“The International Experience Craig has gained through working with Global Companies in New York, Atlanta and London is unparalleled”, says Will Underwood, Ironwood Managing Partner. Underwood continues, “With Craig’s “reverse-flow” expertise, we are able to build on our capabilities to serve foreign clients and brokers with their U. S. operations.

As Senior VP, International Practice, Craig will work closely with Timothy S. Blanco, Ironwood’s International Advisor who handles Ironwood’s insurance placements outside the United States. Craig will be responsible for further developing Ironwood’s “reverse-flow” business of companies located in the U.S. and owned by non-U.S. companies.

Perry has been an active member of the Worldwide Broker Network, which Ironwood is also proud to be a partner firm.
